The museum would be in chronological sections as seen below:
The Early Astronomers: This section will consist of the works and discoveries of Galileo, Kepler, Copernicus, Tycho and many more. Life sized exhibits and video of their contribution of space exploration.
The Pioneers: Exhibits of Robert Goddard, Werner Von Braun, Col John Paul Stapp, Col Joe Kittenger, test pilot pioneers, Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier , Laika and Hamm and much more.
The Beginning: This section would consist of Russia launching Sputnik, (a replica of the first sattelite would be on display) Yuri Gagarin-the first man in space, The Mercury program begins, Valentina Tereshkova becomes the first woman in space, exhibits on Russian spaceflight, the original seven Mercury astronauts and their flights.
Gemini: Exhibits consists of the first docking with Agenda, Ed Whites Gemini IV walk in space, the first space rendevous, Gemini VI and VII.
Apollo: Apollo 1 fire, Apollo 8 orbits the moon, Apollo 10 manuvers within 10 miles of the moons surface, Apollo 11 lands (life sized lunar module exhibit of Neil Armstrong taking the first step) Apollo 12's precision landing at the Surveyor site in the Ocean of Storms, Apollo 13 explosion and the efforts to bring the crew home safely, Americas first astronaut Alan Shepard walks on the moon, Apollo 15,16 and 17, the lunar rovers and much more.
Skylab: Americas first space station.
International Space Station: A detailed mini mock up of the station as well as a real time tracker to follow the space stations location.
Space Shuttle: The beginning of the fleet, the high and lows including the Challenger and Columbia tragedies.This section would include actually walking onto the open cargo bay area of a space shuttle while it is in "orbit" and as astronauts work above.
Mars and Beyond: The exploration of planets, solar system and universe with spacecraft. A exhibit of the Mars rovers, Hubble Telescope, where the next step for manned mission shall take us and what it would take for deep space manned exploration.
The World Contributes: A section exhibiting what countries of the world that have contributed to exploration and space travel.
Rocket Garden: The center of the museum would house a rocket garden.
